Case 1 - Beneath the High Sierra
This bizarre case from the USA arrived on my computer via the internet and consists of an evaluation of a series of reports concerning a weird, underground city hidden deep under the Venezuelan sierras. According to the narrator the Venezuelan government is aware of its existence and is content to leave it alone. Since I did not personally witness any if the events recounted here obviously I cannot vouch for their authenticity or accuracy, however, given the unusual nature of the story I accepted it at face value and present it here with the full permission of the narrator.
Case 2 - Declarations at Arbroath
Arbroath Abbey is famous in Scottish history as the site where King Robert the Bruce made his powerful statement about the nationality and freedom of the Scottish people. However, according to the Historic Scotland guides it is also comprehensively haunted. In this case file we will discover what actually occurred when a group of investigators and mediums went to the Abbey to discover the nature of the haunting.
Nicky Tams is a welcoming bar and bistro set in the old part of Stirling on the road leading up to the castle. As you will see, it was not only the pub that has its share of spectres, but the also the accommodation sited above it. Discover also the strange secret of the Victorian photograph discovered during the renovations.
Case 4 - The Cowie Poltergeist
Cowie is a small and unremarkable village located in Stirlingshire; it was also the scene of an alarming case of poltergeist phenomena experienced by a family living there. This account describes the spine-chilling events encountered when the affected house was visited by a team of psychic investigators.
There are many ways that spirit possession occurs and this is the account of one such event. In this instance the young man involved had apparently been possessed by an entity from the lower astral plain that had taken up residence in a piece of quartz crystal originating in Saudi Arabia. It was successfully exorcised during an eventful ceremony held in the unlikely setting of the centre span on the Kincardine Bridge.
Case 6 - Aberfeldy Poltergeist
This case describes another account of alleged poltergeist activity, this time in the small and picturesque Perthshire setting of Aberfeldy village. This is one of the few cases that was inconclusive, however this does not mean that the events were not genuine.
Case 7 - Hidden in Plain Sight
Sometimes a case such as this one comes along that really causes one to take stock of their beliefs. This case file describes the remarkable discovery made by one man on his journey for spiritual fulfilment. The man, Bill Downie, claims to have discovered encrypted in the NIV edition of the bible, the tragedy that signified the second coming of Christ, this is his account.
In this file we discover that events from long ago can leave their imprints on the present when the spirit of a young man murdered in the 1940's reached out across the years to make his presence known. It also indicates just how sensitive psychic mediums are.
Case 9 - Greyfriars Churchyard
The historic city of Edinburgh has its fair share of ghostly sightings, and Greyfriars Kirkyard particularly so. His case recounts the surprising and unearthly events surrounding a series of investigations carried out in the grim and infamous Covenanters Prison which is situated within the grounds of Greyfriars Kirkyard; it is also home to the alleged 'Mackenzie Poltergeist'.
Case 10 - Northern Close Encounters
The subject of alleged abduction by extraterrestrial entities has bedevilled researchers for decades. In virtually every case there is no physical evidence or proof and the researcher has to rely entirely on subjective impressions of the claimant based on their personality and apparent sincerity. What is particularly unusual about this case is the relationship between the 'abductee' and his 'abductors', there is no hint that he views them with any sense of fear, rather, he looks upon them as teachers and friends.
Even in the bizarre world of paranormal research there are sometimes cases that defy rationality yet tantalise and excite with their promise of fresh ideas and concepts. Such a case involves Mr John Martin, a resident of North Yorkshire in England who encountered a set of bizarre circumstances that do not conform to any conventional interpretation of reality. It is also another example of the convoluted world of contact with non-human entities
Case 12 - Talking to the Alien
In this investigation we discover what occurred when a psychic medium made contact, or 'channelled' what was allegedly an extraterrestrial entity. It also gives a unique insight into what may be the mechanism behind the phenomenon.
Case 13 - The Community Centre
This article reveals what transpired when PEG used the services of a medium while investigating strange happenings in a village community centre. It also produced some good images of 'Orbs'.
