Special Interests

We have a particular interest in the links between 'conventional' paranormal activity and UFOlogy; particularly where the physical appearance of supernatural entities and ET's and the range of phenomena they produce is identical. In addition, we consider it likely that they exist in the alternate universes theorised by quantum physicists. We also have a particular interest in the nature of consciousness and the perception enhancing effects of mind-altering chemicals like dimethyltryptamine (DMT), peyote and other natural substances used by shamans etc. There is mounting evidence that these substances have a profound effect on our latent ability to sense the invisible presences surrounding us. We also have an interest in, and continually research, historical and mystical enigmas, e.g. Rosslyn Chapel, the Knights Templar and Rennes-le-Chateau.

Current Positions

Brian and Ann Allan are co-founders of P.E.G (Paranormal Encounters Group) which, in addition to conducting investigations, is a self-help group designed to provide a safe and sympathetic environment for people who have suffered emotional trauma or been otherwise affected by their experiences. PEG has access to trained counsellors and mediums and can be contacted via the PEG Website by filling in our contact form. Additionally, they are the Scottish representatives for Strange Phenomena Investigations (SPI UK) (Scotland).

Published works

We have written literally dozens of in-depth articles and are currently regular contributors to the 'BUFORA Bulletin', 'Strange Times', the 'Sauniere Magazine', and our own dedicated website, www.p-e-g.co.uk We have also contributed to numerous other web-sites, including www.spiuk.net www.ellisctaylor.co.uk and www.thelosthaven.co.uk . We have co-written three books, one entitled 'The SPI Files' which is an account of SPI's investigations, another entitled 'Angels of Heaven, Angels of Hell', which examines the phenomena associated with mysticism, including angels, stigmata, levitation, prophecy, miracles, incorruptibility and ET's. Our latest book is entitled, 'Beyond Reality' and concerns recent accounts of alien contact and abduction in the UK. We have personally investigated and recorded each account.

Theories

Over the years we have adopted and discarded many ultimately invalid ideas and theories. For example, we no longer embrace the Extra Terrestrial Hypothesis, (ETH) as the only explanation for sightings of 'UFO's' and other aerial anomalies. After having personally investigated, re-investigated and evaluated several classic British UFO sightings and alleged abductions, we reached the conclusion that rather than the result of direct interference by extraterrestrial entities, they may be the result of encounters with 'extra-dimensional' beings. Through this paradigm we attempt to tie in the astonishing concepts and conclusions reached in quantum theory, although in real terms it matters little whether the entities originate from another galaxy or continuum. The point is; they can and do arrive here in our version of reality, normally uninvited. We also strongly believe that there are inescapable links between the paranormal, folklore, traditional magic and UFOlogy. These links have always been here and have been witnessed over millennia. The sole mitigating factors have been based entirely on social and cultural mores and beliefs. We see no conflict between the possibilities presented by the alternate continuums posited by quantum physics and the use of consciousness expanding chemicals to bridge the gap between our reality and other dimensions.
